Here are a few screens and a video from Marble It Up, the game I've spent the last year as AD on. I'm responsible for all art, modeling, textures, VFX, etc.
The initial visual inspiration was 80s/90s Trapper Keeper art. That was sort of the jump-off point, and we pushed it from there into some more digital laser like effects, and psychedelic colors. As with all game development you do the best you can with what you have available, in the time of ailable. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the finished product and very proud of the game.
